Slough Grammar School

Slough Grammar School uses GL Assessment papers as part of its selective 11+ entrance exam. The school administers the test independently (it's not part of a shared consortium), and places around 180 pupils each year. English comprehension passages are age-appropriate but require careful, thoughtful reading — some are more literary or nuanced than standard practice papers, so encourage your child to read widely. Time pressure is moderate and manageable, so if your child has practised timed GL papers, they should find the pacing reasonable.
