Is TrueVIQ really free?
Yes. All practice questions, mock tests, explanations, and adaptive difficulty are free — no credit card required. Paid tiers add parent-facing analytics and coaching insights, but your child's practice experience is the same on every tier.
What subjects does TrueVIQ cover?
Maths (10 National Curriculum strands), English (6 strands including comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary), Verbal Reasoning (11 question types), and Non-Verbal Reasoning (8 question types).
How are questions created?
Every question is created by TrueVIQ Foundry and validated through a 6-layer verification process called The Crucible. Each question receives an TrueVIQ Score™ from 0 to 100. Questions below our quality threshold are not shown to children.
Is it suitable for GL and CEM areas?
Yes. TrueVIQ questions cover content tested by both GL Assessment and CEM exam boards. Mock tests follow the GL format (separate subject papers, timed). CEM-style mixed-subject practice is also available.
What year groups is it for?
TrueVIQ covers Years 3 to 6. Questions are tagged by year group and difficulty level (Foundation, Standard, Challenge) so children can work at the right level for their stage.
How is TrueVIQ different from a tutor?
TrueVIQ is a self-paced practice platform, not a tutoring service. It provides curriculum-mapped questions, adaptive difficulty, and detailed explanations. A tutor offers personalised guidance and motivation. Many families use both.
Is my child's data safe?
TrueVIQ is designed to comply with the ICO Age Appropriate Design Code and UK GDPR. We collect minimal data (first name, year group, exam type), never show ads to children, never sell data, and use row-level security so families only see their own information.
