What Parents Should Know
#### Key dates — checked October 2026 - 2027 entry cycle: Slough Consortium 11+ (GL Assessment, single sitting) sat 19 September 2026; results from 15 October 2026 via the consortium portal. - Qualifying standard: a standardised score of 111 or above makes a child eligible for consideration (roughly the top 35% of the sitting cohort). Eligibility is not an offer — there are far more eligible applicants than places. - Consortium: one registration and one test covers Herschel, Langley, St Bernard's Catholic and Upton Court grammar schools. - Next cycle (September 2028 entry): registration expected 1 May – 5 June 2027; test expected mid-September 2027.
